Senior Pastor Edward L. House
Edward House is the senior pastor of Door of Life Christian Church in Sister Bay, Wisconsin. He founded the church in March of 2002 and has enjoyed the continual growth of a warm and caring church family.
Door of Life is a non-denominational (Bible based) church that focuses on establishing people in God's love, instructing them how to live victoriously, and helping them to discover His plan for their lives.
Pastor Ed was licensed in 2002, ordained in 2005, and has received a diploma in pastoral studies. He is also a graduate of North Central University (B.S. Church Business Administration) and Life Christian University (M.A. Theology).
From 1994 – 2002, Pastor Ed served at Living Waters Christian Church and Liberty Christian Center where he provided associate pastoral support and altar worker counseling. These opportunities provided him with much personal "one on one" ministry experience.
His great passion in life has been sharing the Word of God with people in a way that is relevant and life changing. This not only requires an understanding of the Bible but also a compassion for people. As a pastor he understands the tremendous privilege and responsibility that comes with meeting people at their point of need with God's Word and prayer.
He has been happily married to his wife Julie since 1988 and been blessed with five beautiful children (Whitney, Lindsey, Kailey, Caleb, Abigail). They currently reside in Fish Creek, Wisconsin where his wife helps him in the ministry and his children are actively involved in the public school system.
